Our third release comes out as a single named “Testament”, conceived by London’s own King SlaFF, a producer and DJ who published on 2008 the EP “Granted/Farewell” on Echodub, a label oriented to the deep sounds of dubstep. This collaboration lead him to work with Echodub’s head, DFRNT who remixed the track Granted, and with XXXY who did a remix of his track “Sacrifice”.
Testament is a minimal dubstep track, whose ambient attributes cause it to flow naturally after “Vapor”, our first release.
The theme is built with mellow chords and ambient synths fused with a peculiar minimal 2step rhythm base which plays with halfstep, 4/4 rhtyms and syncopated dubby percussions.
A beautiful and peculiar mid point between dubstep, minimal techno and ambient which shows a special care in sound design and a great production technique.
We keep on inviting mexican producers to remix the original. This time the turn goes for Mock The Zuma -a young rising talent from the northern Mexican city Ciudad Juarez-, Mekha -Vira’s old time collaborator- who did a remix for our first single “Vapor”, and the man behind “Bit Pairat”: Kupa, with a tropical bleeps funky remix oriented to dancefloor.
The EP is mastered by Shawn Hatfield aka Twerk, an electronic music legend of his own league whose work has been published on seminal labels such as Mille Pleateaux and who has recently worked on the engineering of records by Eskmo, Amon Tobin, Merzbow and Photek.

Nuestro tercer lanzamiento lleva por nombre “Testament”, concebido por King SlaFF, productor y DJ de Londres, quien publicó en 2008 el EP “Granted/Farewell” en Echodub, un sello orientado a los sonidos “profundos” del dubstep. Esta colaboración lo llevó a colaborar con el director de Echodub, DFRNT quien hizo un remix de su tema Granted, y con XXXY quien hizo un remix de su tema “Sacrifice”.
Testament es un tema de dubstep mininal y ambiental que continúa la línea de nuestro primer lanzamiento “Vapor”.
El tema está construido con apacibles acordes y sintetizadores ambientales fusionados con una peculiar base rítimica minimal en 2step que juega con ritmos en halfstep, 4/4 y percusiones asincopadas.
Un hermoso y peculiar punto medio entre dubstep, minimal techno y ambient que muestra un especial cuidado en el diseño sonoro y una gran técnica de producción.
De la misma manera que en nuestro primer lanzamiento, el tema fue remixeado por productores mexicanos como el joven de Ciudad Juárez, Mock The Zuma; Mekha, un colaborador previo de vira y el autor de “Bit Pairat”, Kupa quien hiso un remix con bleeps tropicales orientado a la pista de baile.
El EP fue post-producido por Shawn Hatfield aka Twerk, viejo lobo de mar de la producción electrónica quien editó en legendarios sellos como Mille Plateux y quien recientemente ha post-producido el material de artistas como Eskmo, Amon Tobin, Merzbow y Photek.
